FREE BUSINESS FACILITIES AND ADVICE

Business entrepreneurs from the local area will soon be able to benefit from a new touch-down office facility in Netheravon, provided free of charge by Landmarc Support Services, the provider of integrated training and infrastructure support solutions.

The Rural Enterprise Hub will launch on the 17th May to coincide with Business in the Community’s ‘Give and Gain’ day; a day when businesses are encouraged to donate their time and resources to help local enterprises.

To mark the launch, Landmarc will be offering mentoring sessions to local SMEs with some of the company’s divisional experts; offering professionals from the area the chance to get to grips with changes in HR and recruitment law, master the latest trends in PR and social media and learn how to successfully supply to large corporate organisations.

Mat Roberts, Head of Sustainability at Landmarc explains:

“At Landmarc, we manage the MoD’s entire training estate and, as a result, we work closely with many rural communities the length and breadth of the UK. Nowhere is this more apparent than here at our Netheravon offices in rural Wiltshire where we employ more than 300 people from the local area.

“As we are so reliant on the support of our local community, we thought it was important to give something practical back; something where both our company infrastructure and business knowledge could be put to good use.

“Our new Rural Enterprise Hub is designed to do just that. First, we recognise that accessing broadband or reprographics services in some rural areas can be problematic, especially on the move. The Hub is designed to provide a point for local business people from start up to well established to access the office facilities and infrastructure they need.

“Secondly, the Hub will also be open to provide support and advice to local business people where appropriate, including advice on legislation, health and safety, training and development to name a few.”

Places for the ‘Give and Gain’ sessions on the 17th May are filling fast, so people are encouraged to contact Gemma Fear at the company on 01980 671800 to book their slot.
