Any modern maintenance system should be able to forward plan, predict accurate costs and maintenance time required. Ranges, by their nature have a vast number of low-level assets that have variable use and wear; it is difficult to plan maintenance costs. Range construction

The UK armed forces revised basing plan brought more troops to Catterick Garrison, requiring additional small arms ranges. It was decided to build 2 x 600 m / 10 Lane Electronic Target Ranges. As the commercial partner to the UK MoD for training areas and ranges Landmarc was tasked to manage the range construction project.

On a several of sites, Landmarc delivers instrumented close quarter battle ranges that provide immersive training using service weapons with sub calibre adaptors (0.22 inch).  We operate the complete system of targetry, effects simulation and CCTV, the military instructors to concentrate on tactics and After Action Review.

Inflatable walls

Inflatable walls

On some sites, the UK MoD have purchased an inflatable wall system which allows individual urban scenarios to be constructed with minimum manpower or effort, providing effective urban training. In our experience a system with this versatility and application is unique.
