Landmarc Support Services (Landmarc) and the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) have been named as one of three finalists in the ‘Partners in Expert Services – Large Estates’ category at the prestigious 2021 Premises and Facilities Management (PFM) Partnership Awards, for the management and operation of the UK Defence Training Estate.
The PFM Awards, which are one of the longest running in the FM industry, recognise the essential role that effective partnerships play in delivering service excellence and reward the very best examples of these through a dedicated independent judging panel.
Landmarc and DIO have worked in partnership for almost two decades, delivering the expert services required to enable our Armed Forces to live, work and train on the UK Defence Training Estate. Services include the management and operation of training areas and ranges, explosives safety, built and rural estate management, accommodation services, environmental and conservation support and project management.
The aim of the partnership is to provide the best training experience for our Armed Forces so that they can deploy on frontline operations and return home safely. During the most recent contract, Landmarc and DIO successfully supported over 72 million training days, maintained a customer satisfaction rate of over 99%, and achieved outstanding KPI performance, with more than 99% of inspections and repairs delivered on time in accordance with contractual targets.

The winners of all categories in this year’s PFM Awards will be announced at a ceremony on Wednesday 3 November following a second round of judging during the summer.
