LANDMARC GAINS BS11000

Landmarc Support Services has just gained certification to the new national BS11000 Collaborative Management standard.

As the successor to the PAS 11000 management system standard, BS11000 provides a framework that facilitates improved communications between client and supplier. It enables a ‘right first time’ approach to activities and helps companies develop and manage their interactions with other organisations for maximum benefit to all.

This achievement demonstrates Landmarc’s commitment to working closely with key customers and suppliers, moving from a traditional ‘arms length’ arrangement to one of working together to get the job done in the best possible way.

Coupled with its existing quality, health and safety and environmental accreditations, this latest endorsement makes Landmarc a member of an ‘elite’ club within the UK and is a true reflection of just how innovative Landmarc is in driving new initiatives across the business.

Clive Comport, Quality Compliance Manager at Landmarc said: “Landmarc has always operated collaboratively, so has seen the benefits that working within such a system can deliver. Now, having a recognised and formalised system in place has helped strengthen the robustness of existing management processes and enabled us to integrate it into other management systems such as ISO 9001.

“We believe that working in closer collaboration with customers is key to helping both parties deliver and achieve a better service. Receiving this accreditation is testament to the hard work and commitment of all our employees and we’re looking forward to building on it in the future.”

B2Bppm Ltd supported Landmarc in achieving this accreditation. They were bought on board as they had considerable experience of collaborative management within the public sector and it was this experience and advice that proved extremely valuable during the certification phase of the project.
