ANNUAL LEAVE AND LOYALTY HOLIDAY

Employees receive 25 days annual leave plus 8 public holidays each holiday year which runs 01 April to 31 March (pro rata for part time employees). In recognition of continued service, employees are awarded one extra day on the anniversary of the fifth year of continued service and another extra day on the anniversary of the tenth year of service.

DISCRETIONARY HOLIDAY – TIME OFF OVER CHRISTMAS

Landmarc provides up to three discretionary paid days during the period between Christmas and New Year in place of annual leave.

HOLIDAY PURCHASE SCHEME

We believe work life balance is important and time away from work for all employees makes them more energised when operating in the business. To support this we operate a holiday purchase scheme, where eligible staff can purchase up to ten extra annual leave days, with a maximum annual leave allowance of up to 35 days (pro rata for part-time staff).

FLEXIBLE WORKING

We understand that there are times where employees would like a little more flexibility within their working day, eligible employees are able to request a flexible working pattern, which may include a change to hours, time or location of work.

OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH

We strive to keep employees healthy and safe when performing work duties, ensuring that our work is not affecting their health. PAM Group, our Occupational Health specialists offer a number of ways to support us at work. PAM Group also offer individual consultations to support employees through a difficult time which can work in tandem with any GP led consultations.

EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAMME (EAP)

Our EAP is provided by Health Assured and is a confidential 24 hour telephone support service for employees and their immediate family members. All calls are answered by a qualified and experienced counsellor who will give advice on a number of issues including but not limited to, family life, financial, stress, bereavement and medical issues. Health Assured also have experienced Counsellors who can offer a bespoke course of face to face therapy for those who require it.

MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AIDERS

We actively promote mental health wellbeing and mental health awareness. We have a number of qualified Mental Health First Aiders across all levels of the business who are keen to support any employee that has mental health concerns.

SAFE WORKING ENVIRONMENT

The Safety, Health and Environmental Advisors provide help and information to service categories and individuals to enable all employees, contractors and visitors to Landmarc to enjoy a healthy and safe working environment.  We aspire for all employees to receive a NEBOSHH Working Safely qualification delivered through our in-house Health and Safety team.

EMPLOYEE SUGGESTION SCHEME – BRIGHT IDEAS

Employees are encouraged to submit workable suggestions to improve the service that Landmarc provides and / or increase workforce efficiency and productivity, via the Bright Ideas scheme. Successful Bright Ideas may be eligible to receive a financial reward.

EYE TEST

Users of computers or other visual display unit (VDU) and whose who drive as part of their role, may be eligible to request reimbursement towards eyesight tests and lenses (if required for VDU use or driving only).

TRADE UNIONS

Landmarc recognises trades unions (Unite, Prospect and GMB) for collective bargaining; the unions also advise, support and represent their members in relation to individual matters.
