LANDMARC SHORTLISTED FOR TWO SUSTAINABILITY AWARDS

Landmarc has been shortlisted for Positive Climate Impact and Sustainable Collaboration in the Metsä Tissue 2025 Sustainability Awards, delivered in partnership with the Cleaning & Services Support Association. The recognition is for recent improvements in the delivery of soft facilities management (FM) services, which have reduced costs, improved efficiency and had a positive impact on our environment and carbon footprint.

The awards were founded in 2023 with the aim of increasing the focus on sustainability in the cleaning and hygiene industry and highlighting and rewarding best practice to help create a positive and lasting impact on the environment.

Over the last few years, the soft FM team has been working with regional teams and key supply chain partners including Purozo and Killis, to invest in a range of innovative cleaning equipment and sustainable product ranges, which have resulted in:

  • a 95% reduction in our carbon footprint
  • a 90% reduction in packaging, with zero waste to landfill
  • a saving of over 5m litres of water, with a contribution of 472,500 litres of water to the Made Blue Foundation, a charity that works to provide clean drinking water for all.

Jamie Hutch, Soft FM Assurance Manager said, “It has been amazing to see the success of these new initiatives, which have transformed our approach to cleaning, delivering a wide range of benefits across the business and most importantly for our front line teams and End Users.

“We’re very proud to be shortlisted for these awards, which recognise the hard work of our teams to foster a culture of pride and professionalism in soft FM services.”

Steve Judd, Environment and Sustainability Manager added, “Being shortlisted for these awards is a reflection of the hard work of our teams to implement a range of sustainable solutions in support of our objective to achieve net-zero carbon by 2035.

“Huge congratulations to the team.”

The winners will be announced at a ceremony at The Pelligon in Canary Wharf on Wednesday 19 March. All finalists will also be considered for the Judges’ Choice Awards, which will recognise the best achievements at both national and regional levels.
