LANDMARC RANKED SEVENTH IN UK’S TOP 50 EMPLOYERS OF VETERANS

Landmarc has risen from 23rd to seventh place in the 50 Great Employers of Veterans guide, reflecting practical support for veterans, reservists, military spouses and service leavers across the UK.

Landmarc has been ranked seventh in the fourth annual 50 Great Employers Of Veterans guide, climbing 16 places from last year.

The independent guide helps veterans identify employers that understand their skills and can support their move into civilian work. Landmarc’s position recognises the practical steps it takes to make its workplace accessible and welcoming to the Armed Forces community.

Veterans make up around 25 per cent of Landmarc’s workforce. Its Guaranteed Interview Scheme supports eligible veterans, reservists and military spouses by helping them access employment opportunities. The scheme also includes graduates of the X Forces Enterprise Cadets in Enterprise Programme, an initiative that helps young people in the Cadet Forces develop business, financial and leadership skills.

Landmarc also gives service leavers opportunities to explore civilian careers. At a recent careers insight day on Salisbury Plain, participants met employees, built professional connections and learned about roles across the organisation.

Veterans’ skills and achievements are celebrated throughout the year through colleague stories, social media and events including Armed Forces Week and the British Ex-Forces in Businesss Awards.

The company also supports military charities through fundraising and volunteering. Recent initiatives include the Great Tommy Sleep Out and support for SSAFA, the Armed Forces Charity, though its volunteer mentor programme.

Landmarc will continue helping veterans build on the experience gained during military service and develop rewarding, long term civilian careers.
