NEW STATE-OF-THE-ART URBAN FIGHTING FACILITIES OPEN AT SALISBURY PLAIN AND CATTERICK

Two brand-new urban fighting skills facilities, designed to replicate the complexity and unpredictability of modern urban operations, have officially opened on the Defence Training Estate. Located at Rollestone Camp on Salisbury Plain and Whinny Hill on Catterick Training Area, the new Skills Houses will significantly improve the training experience for troops.

A Bidding and Allocation Management System (BAMS Online) went live across the Defence Training Estate this summer. It is a new online booking service for our Armed Forces, which replaces paper forms and processes for troops looking to book facilities on the UK’s training areas and ranges.
