EMPLOYEES DIRECT FUNDING TO TOP THREE CHARITIES THROUGH LANDMARC MATCH FUNDING PROGRAMME

Landmarc employees have helped direct funding to three deserving charities, with Cancer Research UK, Wiltshire & Bath Air Ambulance and the Royal British Legion receiving a share of donations following a company-wide vote.

To mark the end of the financial year, colleagues were invited to choose the organisations they felt should benefit from the remaining match funding pot, highlighting the causes that matter most across the business.

The results saw Cancer Research UK receive the highest level of support, followed by Wiltshire & Bath Air Ambulance and the Royal British Legion. The funding has been distributed pro rata based on employee votes:

Cancer Research UK – £1,250

Wiltshire & Bath Air Ambulance – £750

Royal British Legion – £500

These organisations provide vital services, from life-saving emergency response and support for Armed Forces communities to pioneering cancer research, and the donations will contribute to their ongoing impact.

AMPLIFYING EMPLOYEE FUNDRAISING

The donations form part of Landmarc’s Charity Match Funding Programme, which enables the business to double the impact of employee fundraising efforts.

Through the initiative, Landmarc matches money raised by employees for registered charities and not-for-profit organisations, up to £500 per person each year. Funded through the company’s Community Fund, the programme ensures that every pound raised by employees goes even further in supporting good causes.

The initiative complements Landmarc’s ongoing corporate partnership with SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity, while also broadening support to a wide range of organisations that are personally meaningful to employees.

GROWING IMPACT ACROSS COMMUNITIES

Over the past financial year, the programme has supported more than 20 charities and not-for-profit organisations, with total match funding exceeding £12,000 an increase from £8,000 the previous year. This includes a dedicated £2,500 contribution to SSAFA.

The Charity Match Funding Programme will continue into the next financial year, providing further opportunities for employees to champion causes close to their hearts while helping Landmarc make a lasting difference in communities across the UK.
