The Landmarc IT Security team has undergone external independent, rigorous testing of all IT environments resulting in Landmarc being awarded the Cyber Essentials Plus certification.
Cyber Essentials is a Government-backed, industry-supported scheme to help organisations protect themselves against common online threats. From 1 October 2014, Government required all suppliers bidding for contracts involving the handling of certain sensitive and personal information to be certified against the Cyber Essentials scheme.
There are two types of certification: Cyber Essentials, a simpler self-assessment option that certifies protection against a wide variety of the most common cyber-attacks, and Cyber Essentials Plus, which requires the same levels of protection but verification is carried out by an independent Certification Body.
