HAVING A CLEAR MISSION GIVES US A FOCUS

Our mission is to provide integrated support services and functional infrastructure across the UK Defence Training Estate and promote the delivery of safe, sustainable and effective military training.

PUTTING OUR VISION INTO PRACTICE

Our vision is something that military veteran and Landmarc’s range and training area expert, Martin Burke, can really relate to and every day he strives to provide the most realistic training environment possible with his team so that our Armed Forces have everything they need to train safely and sustainably. Here, he tells us what Landmarc’s vision means to him.

VALUING THE IMPORTANCE OF WATER ON WORLD WATER DAY

World Water Day is an annual UN celebration of the importance of freshwater which happens on 22 March each year and raises awareness of the 2.2 billion people living without access to safe water. It is about taking action to tackle the global water crisis. A core focus of World Water Day is to support the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 6: water and sanitation for all by 2030. Sustainability Advisor, Sebastian Blake, explains how Landmarc values the water on the Defence Training Estate.

SPOTLIGHT ON SAMM MURRAY, OUR FIRST FEMALE NTAM

Defence is traditionally a male-dominated industry but at Landmarc we are making in-roads on building an inclusive workplace that enables women to thrive, with over a quarter of all new recruits now being female – a significant improvement on previous years. We firmly believe in equality and the diverse roles that women hold across our business are testament to that, with women featuring across all levels from director to manager to supervisor to operative and a range of specialist roles in between.

NEW KITCHEN FACILITY ENHANCES TRAINING EXPERIENCE FOR ARMED FORCES

Landmarc Support Services working with The Defence Infrastructure Organisation and Highlands based contractor Compass Building and Construction Services, opened a new £2.3 million kitchen and dining facility at Cameron Barracks, a military training camp located on the eastern outskirts of Inverness in Scotland.
