This week, we are celebrating the achievements of our apprentices as we mark National Apprenticeship Week. Joanne Hall, Maintenance Manager at RAF Spadeadam in Cumbria, has recently completed her two-year, Level 3 Facilities Management apprenticeship and tells us how studying for an apprenticeship has helped her develop new skills for life.

WORK STARTS ON NEW URBAN FIGHTING SKILLS FACILITY AT WHINNY HILL

Representatives from Landmarc, the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) and Story Contracting have marked the start of a project to create a brand new Urban Fighting Skills Facility at Whinny Hill on Catterick Training Area in Yorkshire, with an informal groundbreaking ceremony.
