EMBRACING DIFFERENT BACKGROUNDS AND EXPERIENCES

Landmarc has always been committed to promoting equality and diversity, embracing a culture that actively values different backgrounds and experiences.  We aim to be an inclusive organisation, where diversity is valued, respected and built upon, with a team that reflects the communities we serve.

Recently, we have been reviewing how we can expand on this commitment and have been working with the business to look at how we can establish a number of employee networks. We recently launched StandOut for our LGBTQ+ community and a new women’s network, designed to empower and support the rich tapestry of women who make up our team.

We also have a strong network of veterans and reservists, whose experiences are helping us to deliver the best service we can for our Armed Forces.

WOMEN'S NETWORK

“Having been involved in a women’s network previously, I can really see the benefits of having something similar at Landmarc. It supports career and personal development, as well as mental and physical health issues” says HR Advisor Tamsin Gee.

STANDOUT

“I am excited about being given this opportunity to help establish Landmarc’s first employee network, StandOUT, which will be for members of the LGBTQ+ community, and I am enthusiastic about making it a success” says LGBTQ+ champion, Ellie Petty.

VETERANS AND RESERVISTS

Tam Noble, veteran and Foreign Forces Account Manager at Landmarc, served in the 3rd Battalion of the Parachute Regiment as a Section Commander during the conflict. Tam tells us how he spends his time outside of Landmarc giving help and support to veterans suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
