LANDMARC NAMED ONE OF THE TOP 50 EMPLOYERS OF VETERANS FOR 2025

We’re proud to announce that Landmarc has been ranked 23rd in the Top 50 Great British Employers of Veterans 2025, moving up five places from last year’s position. This prestigious accolade recognises organisations that go above and beyond to support veterans, service leavers, reservists and military families across the UK.

The announcement is part of the Great British Employers of Veterans programme, published annually during Armed Forces Week and aligned with the Forces in Business Awards, the world’s largest celebration of military veterans in second careers.

A COMMITMENT TO THE ARMED FORCES COMMUNITY

At Landmarc, our connection to the Armed Forces community is at the heart of what we do. Working in partnership with the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) to manage the UK’s military training estate, we see first-hand the dedication, leadership and adaptability that veterans and service personnel bring to their roles.

“We are incredibly proud to be named one of the Top 50 British Employers of Veterans,” says Kate Mallard, Head of HR at Landmarc. “The values, resilience and leadership of our Armed Forces communities make a lasting impact on our teams, and we remain committed to supporting them at every stage of their careers.”

As a Forces Friendly employer, we have:

  • Signed the Armed Forces Covenant
  • Achieved Gold in the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme
  • Implemented guaranteed interviews for veterans and military spouses / partners meeting essential job criteria
  • Provided up to 10 days’ special paid leave for Reservists and Cadet Force Adult Volunteers
  • Built strong partnerships with organisations like SSAFA and X-Forces Enterprise
  • Sponsored the Soldiering On Awards, co-creating the Employee Champion category to celebrate Armed Forces advocates in the workplace
SETTING THE BENCHMARK FOR VETERAN EMPLOYMENT

The Top 50 list is compiled from submissions by employers across the country and is judged by a panel of senior business leaders and veterans. Each organisation is evaluated on its representation, policies, professional development opportunities and community engagement, making this list a definitive benchmark for best practice in veteran employment.

Landmarc’s consistent placement reflects not only our enduring support for the Armed Forces but also our active role in championing service leavers and creating meaningful second careers.
