NEW STATE-OF-THE-ART URBAN FIGHTING FACILITIES OPEN AT SALISBURY PLAIN AND CATTERICK

Two brand-new urban fighting skills facilities, designed to replicate the complexity and unpredictability of modern urban operations, have officially opened on the Defence Training Estate. Located at Rollestone Camp on Salisbury Plain and Whinny Hill on Catterick Training Area, the new Skills Houses will significantly improve the training experience for troops.

ROLLESTONE CAMP KITCHEN MOVES INTO FIT-OUT PHASE

Work is progressing well on a new £6.5 million kitchen and dining facility at Rollestone Camp on Salisbury Plain. Due for completion in late 2025, the fully electric, modern facility will accommodate up to 500 personnel across two sittings, a major upgrade to the camp’s infrastructure.
