CHAT WITH FAYE WELLS AS PART OF NATIONAL APPRENTICESHIP WEEK

As part of National Apprenticeship Week, we’re shining the spotlight on some of our talented individuals who are gaining invaluable experience while on the job.  Faye Wells, Project Management Coordinator based at our Longmoor Camp in the South East region, is currently studying for her Level 4 Associate Project Manager qualification alongside an APM Project Management Qualification. Here we speak with Faye about her course and getting stuck into projects as a valued apprentice.

“While I have worked in project management offices for quite a few years, the skills I am now learning have given me more confidence to speak knowledgeably about the projects we are working on and what is required to complete them to a high standard and within budget.”

“The structured approach of the course material, and the way it’s delivered by the training provided has helped me balance my training with my day job.

FLEXIBLE WORKING

“The flexibility shown by Landmarc and my team at Longmoor has helped me overcome any challenges.

“I’ve really enjoyed learning about critical path analysis and earned value management has  enhanced my knowledge, as it is not a side of projects that I would usually get involved with in my day-to-day role.

FULLY RECOMMEND

“For anyone considering an apprenticeship, take the opportunity if it is available to you, as the knowledge gained may help you further your career and will certainly give you more confidence in your everyday role.

“Undertaking my apprenticeship has been a truly positive experience for me and I would highly recommend it.”
